Mes papilles fr\u00e9missent encore.<br \/>\nSi on avait une boulangerie pareille \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, je pense que j&rsquo;y serai tout le temps fourr\u00e9e \u00e0 go\u00fbter \u00e0 tous leurs pains et viennoiseries. La <i>clam-showder<\/i> de San Francisco ou la soupe de palourdes, dans la langue de Moli\u00e8re, c&rsquo;est un peu ce que sont le <i>bagel cream cheese<\/i> et le <i>steam hot-dog<\/i> \u00e0 New-York. Une institution. Un passage oblig\u00e9 lors de la visite du port et le haut lieu touristique qu&rsquo;est le Fisherman&rsquo;s Wharf de Frisco. Ce n&rsquo;est pas seulement un attrape touristes en goguette mais aussi un pain au levain \u00ab\u00a0<i>sourdough<\/i>\u00a0\u00bb (ou litt\u00e9ralement \u00ab\u00a0p\u00e2te aigre\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0s\u00fbre\u00a0\u00bb en qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois :-) de grande qualit\u00e9 et unique en son genre car c&rsquo;est au fameux San Francisco <i>fog<\/i> qu&rsquo;on doit entre autres cette fermentation si particuli\u00e8re. Le brouillard qui souffle sur la baie cr\u00e9e l&rsquo;humidit\u00e9 qui permet \u00e0 Boudin (fa\u00eetes comme moi, prononcez-le \u00e0 la Jane Birkin) de r\u00e9gner en ma\u00eetre boulanger sur la baie et dans mon ventre.
